Why Partner

The Acceleration Academies model works across the continuum of learning alternatives, whether reengaging older, out-of-cohort students or intervening with targeted groups of at-risk and special circumstance students.

Our model combines in-person and online learning and support. We assist students in overcoming obstacles, building confidence, and ultimately achieving success in a rigorous academic program leading to a district high school diploma.

Acceleration Academies Understands Your Challenges

Designed for Success

Our district partners choose Acceleration Academies for our track record of re-engaging students and giving them the self-paced learning, tailored content, real-time progress tracking, and wraparound support needed to succeed.

Caring Educators

Instead of raising their hand in a crowded classroom to get a teacher’s attention, Acceleration Academies students benefit from a team of on-site caring educators — licensed teachers, trained counselors, and advocates who help overcome the academic and non-academic barriers to success.

Our Shared Funding Model

Acceleration Academies partners with districts and provides a shared per-pupil funding model. If the District receives e-rate or other funds for technology devices and related technology services for students served by Acceleration Academies, the District will provide that funding, or the technology and related services associated with the student, to Acceleration Academies for meeting student needs.

Districts partner with Acceleration Academies because we have the people, process, and technology already in place.

  1. People

We have the ability to successfully recruit prospective students, ensure adequate staffing, provide strong support for our learners, and successfully re-engage and graduate students who have previously disengaged or not completed their education.

  2. Process

When we partner together to serve these students, everyone wins. We provide program design, staffing and resources, performance metrics, safety, and structure.

  3. Technology

We utilize a proprietary student platform that enables real-time progress tracking, facilitates two-way communication, and supports data-driven instruction and assessment.

More than two years of academic and emotional disruptions during the pandemic have significantly increased both the number of students who dropped out of high school and the intensity of support needed to get them back on track.
